Excuse the flip flops... .
The past two months have been extremely frustrating for me, but I’m coming out the other side at last!
Now working on building the strength back up in the shoulder with strict work and support holds along with still doing rehab, three strict pull ups shouldn’t feel as hard as this but I know they will get easier again as it gets stronger .
I have managed to bench 35kgs for 50 whole reps today with minimal pain, three weeks ago I couldn’t bench an empty bar... can’t wait to start getting back up to bigger weights again! .
Rehab sucks, being injured sucks, but it would suck even more if I couldn’t train, so it gets done until that shoulder is stable and I can start working gymnastic moves again (I have missed handstand push ups so much!) .
If you’re injured make sure you listen to the professionals, @cx13573 @katielou199227 @val_reay_massage_therapist have all helped with the maintenance and recovery, let your PT help you, modify workouts so that you can still train (I have pb’d my clean and my front squat this past few weeks due to extra leg volume 😂) It’s not the end of the world, even though it feels like it at the time
