Leg session today. Single leg exercises should always be incorporated in leg days to keep the strength in both legs as equal as possible. I like a barbell as it keeps my shoulders from rounding but if it’s not comfortable you can use dumbbells. #legday Week 3 and still staying active. I had a Fun weekend and that included a little bit of eating out. I prefer cooking my own food as tiring as it may be at times. But I know what is going into it. Sure was nice though to eat some treats and not beat myself up over it. No reason to if you are in a habit of eating healthy 85%-90% of the time! Have a Great day!

So I have been waiting for FitBit to send me another thing like it did when I lost 25 pounds but apparently they stop at 25 and don’t keep sending the little “badges.” So, can’t really tell on the chart because I got rid of the numbers (you nosy bastards haha) but in roughly 6 months I have lost 50lbs. Still a long way to go but as I am typing this I am getting ready to go lift some heavy shit in the gym before my 2 mile run. Keep an eye out for the next 25lbs gone! Never give up on trying what you really want to do.. unless it is something far fetched and unrealistic ofcourse, But most goals ARE achievable.. even more so than you think! . I will remind you that nothing worth having comes easy.. if it was everyone would be doing it. There's bumps in the road to your goals and that's life, it's what makes the road to your goals exciting. If you didn't need to fight for what you want.. then what's the point? 🤔 . Write down your goals.. make a plan! It's a great way to get a picture of what the journey will look like to your goals, and if it's realistic or worth it.. but NEVER just give up because one of the bumps in the road gets a little too high! NO EXCUSES! You are AWESOME, and you can overcome it. you want it - go get it! 👌🏻💜

One of the very first things I learned when I moved out of my parents house was that you need to learn how to be comfortable being alone/by yourself.. 🙏🏻 . some people are never alone, and have a vast network of friends and family behind them.. or what about people that never go anywhere without their boyfriend/girlfriend? Any relationship can change, whether it's a friends, family or an intimate relationship.. things change. But the only person you'll always be with 24/7, is yourself.. so in order to always have a safety net, to always feel comfortable... you need to learn how to just be by yourself.. 🧘🏻‍♀️ . I never rely on anyone's company and feel very comfortable being alone, but as of late I really have been feeling like I need more people around me to talk to. Now I try to keep a perfect balance, I love spending time with people and make conversation, but I still enjoy being alone, listening to my favorite songs, read a book, get creative by drawing or painting, Long walks... The plus side of being alone is it's peaceful and you can collect your thoughts. Free your mind so to speak.. but when you do it too much you get the urge to talk to people, and that's the same the other way around. Find balance!☯️ Like ANYTHING else in life. But most importantly; BE COMFORTABLE BEING ALONE! it will get you more comfortable with yourself too.✌🏻 . 📸 Another lovely shot by @marijke.elise
