💪 That which is not talked about - does not exist.
When you touch the earth do you know what happens?
My client comes in with a #footpain . He did something at a party last night with a foot roller thingy and now it hurts.
We talk about modern cushy shoes making our feet lazy and weak, and I then mention there are great and FREE ways to strengthen those guys 👇 👣 #WalkingonEarth , be it grass, sand, soil and dirt or pebbles (love those!)
Just you leave shoes behind.
You gotta be in direct contact with the ground, no rubber middle man, please. 👣 Each foot has over 100 muscles, and if you do not use them, you loose them. Want to know how a weak muscle looks and feels like? I will tell you after looking at people’s muscles for the last ten years - it is thin, sometimes ropy, rigid and inflexible. Oh, and it often hurts. Yes, you heard me, it hurts when it is WEAK. Not when it is strong and competent (sounds silly to call a muscle “competent”, but you get the idea). 👣 Walking on #earth uneven surface, forces feet and your whole body to engage more. ENGAGEMENT = STRENGTH
CHEAT: You can also drop things on the floor at home and try grabbing them with the toes. That too will do a strengthening job. Only I prefer outdoors, and HERE is why. 👣 #EARTHING aka grounding
Free flow of electrons emitted from the ground will bathe your body and help it get rid of #inflammation , lessen #ANXIETY , lower #cortisol.
Granted, you are in DIRECT contact with Earth. Bare feet and all.
In my home I have used #grounded sheets and pads for the past four years. If you are interested, comment below, I will tell you where I buy mine, or google is your friend.
My client never heard of earthing, and it surprised me. I thought everyone knew! But then again, I am the kind of person who is constantly researching #lifehacks to live in a happier body with a happy, stable mind, and not everyone has the time and passion to do the same. So, I am sharing my finds here. 📍Have YOU heard of earthing? Used it consciously? Noticed anything if you did?
First time I did it, the #pain in my own foot went down and I felt much calmer. I entered the “relaxed alertness” state.
