Това е поза "пълна глупост", абсолютно ненужна и травмираща за врата, но е предизвикателство да я направиш за малко. Не харесвам стойките на глава, но пътя към постигането им си заслужава това усвояване на контрол над цялото тяло, но определено не си ги прилагям в ежедневната практика, освен ако не е наистина за секунди в някой флоу. My Kind of English Breakfast 💫 Spinach omelette, vegan sausages, beans in tomato sauce and veggies 🍃 Rich in protein (about 27g), full of fibre (about 8g), only 20g of carbs per serving (trust me, I love carbs, but I didn’t feel like having any extra this morning) and 7g of fat. Having a diet rich in protein and fiber has shown to improve one’s appetite control. Take away or Fast food Swaps . . Fast food options or takeaway can be confusing at the best of times. But the art of weight loss always comes down to calorie intake.  Acknowledging the caloric value of the foods you consume is important as it will decipher whether you will lose or gain weight. This infographic provides a great example of options you may choose whilst eating out and how small subtle changes in the choices you make can make a difference without feeling like you’re missing out. Whether that’s Mexican, burgers or your fav 6 inch sub. . . Now, I’m not saying these should be the main foods within your diet. But it’s when we are out and about that people tend to unfold. With many of you going for options that are higher in calories without thinking about it.  These  take out options can be included in one’s diet and weight loss can still be achieved, providing a calorie deficit is still maintained. Obviously sticking to foods that provide more nutrients, more volume and are more satiating are ideal when it comes to weight loss, but being able to enjoy your favourite meals whilst dieting are important. . . Moderation and sustainability should be the forefront of your long term success when it comes to dieting. Because short term weight loss isn’t impressive, keeping it off and maintaining it over the years without yo-yo ing that’s impressive. . . Being conscious of the calories within foods can allow you to have balance within your diet and still achieve your weight loss goals. . . Gone are the days of chicken and broccoli for weight loss (you can’t tell me you get excited to come home to eat this for dinner 🤢, it’s very boring, and not sustainable or appealing and taste like sh*t). . . Remember when eating out whilst dieting, you don’t need to restrict yourself from enjoying “soul” foods you just need to moderate your consumption of these foods. . . It’s just about making smarter food choices in the moment. 💜🙌🏼

#Repost @marielacruzyoga with @get_repost ・・・ There is a “pose-counter pose” quality in the ashtanga method. It asks us to go into both directions- not only those that are easy for us. In my case, my flexibility was given by nature so my work has been to develop strength through many years of practice - even after giving birth several times. Many have the opposite pattern: lots of strength and zero flexibility. Poses are almost irrelevant: how are we reacting when life pushes us into uncharted waters? Our yoga practice is the preparation for facing life turnmoil with an open attitude, relaxed approach and the element of curiosity instead of resistance and fear. Our practice is a magnifying glass for our minds. I was too flexible, I had no boundaries. Strengthening my body has also helped me strengthen my mind and I have learn to set clear limits. I have learned to say “no”, “enough” and “it’s over”. Want to have a taste of India, without leaving the comfort of your home (and bypassing the hustle & bustle of Bombay)? Spice up your life with Kawuljit Kuar's Masala chai recipe... 🍵 . Ingredients: . 6 cloves 2 star anise 7.5 cm cinnamon stick 5 cardamom pods 1 tbsp black Assam Tea 400 ml whole milk 3 tbsp sugar or honey to taste 🍯 . Instructions: . 1. Place all the spices, except the sliced ginger, in a mortar. Crush and grind them with a pestle until they break into small pieces and produce a striking aromatic scent. 2. Place the crushed spices, sliced ginger, and tea leaves in a saucepan and warm on a medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Using a wooden spoon, stir frequently to ensure the mixture does not burn. 3. Add 650 ml water to the pan and bring to boil on a high heat. Reduce the heat and let the tea simmer, all the while stirring with the spoon. 4. Add the milk and sugar and continue stirring. Simmer for further 2 minutes, allowing all the ingredients to blend. Remove the pan from the heat and strain the tea into a teapot. 5. ~ What I eat in a day ~ Back into the swing of uni but also focusing on getting my health back on track for summer 🌤 it’s not long until I’ll be enjoying 30+ degree days during my summer break 🤞🏽 As you’ve probably noticed I’m loving granola and cereal at the moment so of course I started my day with a big bowl of that + rice milk. I prefer rice milk over almond or coconut as it is sweeter ✨ BREAKFAST: @freedomfoods granola + choc XOs & frozen raspberries + strawberries & rice milk SNACK: apple 🍎 can’t go wrong with a perfect lady smith apple. So easy to have on the train. LUNCH: Mince seasoned with paprika & taco seasoning & onion mixed with corn, carrot and peas. In a organic quinoa wrap with mixed salad. AFTERNOON SNACK/ PREWORKOUT: Two wholegrain corn thins topped with honey. And of course @cellucor pink lemonade preworkout. DINNER: NEW MEAL PREP. Sweet potato, chickpea and spinach curry. Other ingredients include: carrot, zucchini, onion, coconut milk, rogan josh paste, diced tomatoes & cayenne pepper. ~ from the HSE vegan album ~ DESSERT: protein chocolate mug cake (scoop of protein powder, 1/4tsp baking power + water, microwave for 20secs) & a white choc, raspberry, cheesecake cookie from @subway_aus.
