Nash: *has a hard day at school*
*sends me into an anxiety attack because I think he’s going to get get kicked out of preschool (after one bad day because I’m an over-worrier with no real reason to think that)*
Also Nash: *wakes up from nap and acts like an absolute angel*
Until now Nash’s actions really only effected Matt and I, so sending him to school has been nerve wrecking. Trusting others with his happiness, fragile heart, and safety for 2 days a week isn’t easy on me. Add to that, worrying about how my kid, who I don’t have many complaints about at home, is behaving when I’m not around with activities and rules he’s not yet used to is STRESSFUL. Thankfully his school is amazing and my support system is even better.
Here’s to remembering that we all need a community (looking at you, moms), we all have off days (especially overtired toddlers), and that all behavior from our kiddos is a form of communication 🙌🏼
