This shot was taken in 2011 in Santiago de Chile, during students protests against the high costs of university fees. Today Santiago is under curfew, after protests against the social and economic state of the country, threatened by enormous inequalities. Despite a rich and stable economy, the majority of people in Chile still struggles to afford a living, since education, health or justice are in the hand of private corporations that truly rule the country. Today the people of Santiago and many other cities decided to stand their ground and make itself heard to the right wing president Pinera. The government's reaction was to send the military within the streets of Santiago for the first time since the end of Pinochet's dictatorship. I want to express my full support to the lovely people of Chile that fights for its rights and dignity. El Pueblo unido ✊🇨🇱✊ #renunciapiñera #evasionmasiva #chiledesperto
Halloween is upon us. This eclipse blood moon from last January is something I’ll never forget. I was thinking about making an editing video of how I created this. Would anybody be interested in that? This was composited from 4 shots, The lunar Eclipse, a star field, foreground at white pocket, and the little grim reaper. He was originally my buddy @derekvculver standing there but the reaper replaced him for Halloween.
One thing I really enjoyed while exploring Mongolia and Russia‘s Altai region: free roaming horses everywhere! There’s something special about seeing these majestic creatures surrounded by wild nature with no fence, stable or human in sight.
